Does anyone else feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day? I know OLD story. Old, old, story. My first 3 days of the 21 Day Fix have been incredible! It feels like things are falling into place and I'm getting on a routine again. I love it. It's not EASY, don't mistake feeling incredible for easy, but it's worth it, so that makes it feel betttterish. My meals have been really great so far.

A new favorite is a turkey and hummus wrap with spinach, cucumbers and tomatoes. I wrapped it in a whole wheat tortilla, making it 1 R, 1 Y, 1 G and 1 B. Worth every one of them!!!!

And the always beautiful apple and some sunflower seeds for a snack. Filling and satisfying!

1 P, 1 O

I have to admit that I am feeling a bit tired at the moment. I am adjusting to a new scheudle and giving myself that freedom to let certain things go (goodbye floor that needs to be swept)! Whenever you transition to a new fitness routine, nutrition plan, etc. give yourself a break!!! Yesterday you were doing something different to your body...today, it wants to know what the heck is going on! So, I am embracing it all, focusing on my family, my business and this next 21 Days. Taking it one day at a time! On the lunch menu for tomorrow....sardines! I can't tell you if I've ever had them, but giving them a try. Love 'em? Hate 'em? Let me know!!! UPDATE: I posted this yesterday on my Facebook wall...did you catch it? I had a lunch FAIL!!! See it here. The good news is that I received tons of tips to try again AND I was able to stay on track even though I had initally failed. So my sardines didn't work out? I could have easily gone downstairs to our cafe, ordered up a greasy sandwich and called it a day. BUT, I didn't. I walked over to 7-11, walked past the taquitos and pizza slices and browsed the cold case. I had my eye on the pretzel thin and hummus pack, but when I looked closer, I realized the sodium level was way too high! So I though about my options and decided, DUH, I was gonna have sardines, why not tuna? So that's what I did, I bought a can of solid white tuna and enjoyed that with the whole wheat crackers I had already brought in. Not only was this a lunch WIN, but a budget win because the tuna cost me less than $2....way less than choosing a sandwich or pricey salad even. It just goes to show you that even when things don't go as planned, we always have options! You can't be defeated and take an easy road. Be creative and make choices that will get you to your ultimate goals! Eyes on the prize, baby!!
